Owaiz Aslam is an experienced educator and scholar-practitioner who is passionate about supporting young peacebuilders by training them in interfaith & inter religious activities by increasing young people’s civic engagement and democratic participation.
He has been proactively designing interfaith curricula for students at schools & colleges and carries out research in the field of peacebuilding.
Aslam has invested several years founding the global partnership organisation, the Indian Pluralism Foundation, which works on fostering improved interfaith relations at a grassroots level by engaging in religious literacy programmes. He is also the co-founder of the Washington Based International Interfaith Service Initiative.
